"The U.S. Women's National Team defeated Italy 1-0 on Nov. 27 in Bridgeview, Ill., to advance to the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany 2-0 on aggregate. Amy Rodriguez scored the game's only goal in the 40th minute to give the U.S. the victory."

That would be the Philadelphia Independence's own Amy "A-Rod" Rodriguez.
