When Chester met Rochester
We've been busy, but must note that the Independence ended their second WPS season in eerily similar circumstances to their first: second in the league to a Marta-led team.
The 2011 champions are the Western New York Flash (sounds like something to which children should not be exposed, but we digress) who won on penalty kicks after the match ended in a tie.
Our thanks to the Cheesesteaks for a hard-fought season and our best wishes for next year!
